As our Finance Administrator, you will join the ✪ Operations Circle, work closely together with our CEO/Founder and our interim Finance Officer ánd you will be supporting your new colleagues. You’ll get the opportunity to hone your finance skills in a young, international environment, learning new things every week.
You ensure that all administrative and payroll-related processes comply with legal and tax requirements. In addition, you always look critically at process improvements and you have a good eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Your key responsibilities consist of:
Debtor management: sending reminders, processing payments and answering questions;
Creditor management (entering and processing invoices) and making payments;
Accurate and timely preparation and execution of monthly payroll processing;
Preparing tax returns (OB, ICP, IB and VPB);
Processing bank and credit card transactions;
Taking care of monthly reporting;
Supervising and administering government incentives and training programs;
Answering customer and suppliers questions regarding invoices;
Various daily administrative tasks;
Manage the cash-flow forecasting process.
Education at MBO+ work and thinking level;
Thorough knowledge and affinity with the sector we are in and IT training;
Assisting on cost calculations and cash-flow prognoses;
Excellent knowledge of Dutch wage legislation;
Good knowledge of Dutch Employment Law, preferably also knowledge of the Training and Subsidies procedures;
Preference for previous experience with Exact Online ;
Advanced MS Excel skills (V-lookups and Pivot tables).
Are currently residing in the Netherlands;
Have excellent written and oral communication skills in Dutch and English (preferably Dutch native, other languages are a plus);
Have high intercultural awareness;
Are passionate and driven by your own enthusiasm;
Are extremely detail-oriented, organized, perseverant and driven to complete tasks;
Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
Self-starter; strong mental agility, creative thinking, astute research and problem-solving skills;
Analytical and able to make decisions using sound judgment; strong appreciation for data;
